"An incredibly energetic Riesling, according to James Suckling!

"The Riesling Niederhäuser Klamm Kabinett 2022 rests on volcanic porphyry soils. This vineyard belonged to an extended family. It was bought out and is now vinified as a single site. The nose is serene citrus. The palate is rich like lemon oil, concentrated, fluid and appetizing. Lemon fills the mouth gently, but with inherent playfulness. All the fruits play the leading roles for now, but a mineral framework awaits its turn. The 2022 is glorious, balanced and brilliant". (Vinous 2023)

About the wine:

Striking notes of fresh pomegranate and star fruit. Juicy and zesty, with a blood orange freshness that's delicious to admire. Very fresh finish with an energy you wish you could put in batteries. The sweetness of the unfermented grape is already beautifully integrated. Made from Fair'n Green-certified organically grown grapes. For drinking or storing. Screw cap.

About the wine:

Slate, gunpowder smoke, incense - an extremely mineral nose. Orange blossom and lemon zest are also present. On the palate, the wine has a quiet balance, with sweetness dominating acidity a little, but the tactile minerality gives the wine life and energy. Has great reserves of extraction!
