Palatinat

Visit Palatinate (Pfalz) is an extension of Rhenish Hesse, stretching right up to the northern border with Alsace. Visit Palatinate is a relatively warm region, protected by the surrounding hills.

Riesling is the dominant grape variety in the Palatinate , but there are also Scheurebe and Weissburgunder, as well as Spätburgunder and Portugieser in red.
