Domaine André Blanck et Fils
Visit Domaine André Blanck extends around the village of Kientzheim, a small town at the entrance to the Kaysersberg valley, over an area of 14 hectares, more than 65% of which is Grands-Crus and Lieux-Dits. As early as the 13th century, the Order of the Knights of St. John had a commandery, which is now owned by the family. André Blanck.

Visit Domaine André BlanckHere, vines have been cultivated for several generations. Two of the sons, Charles & Michel, have joined the father on the farm. The Blancks only harvest and vinify grapes from the family estate. Their desire for more environmentally-friendly viticulture has led them to adopt reasoned practices and care: biological insect control, burial of organic matter, ploughing, weeding and straw.

Note du Guide Hachette des Vins : 2**(Vin remarquable) + Coup de Coeur
"A golden wine with a flattering nose combining very ripe exotic fruit, citrus and a mineral nuance. In fine continuity, the palate develops these overripe aromas, adding pear and apricot to the palette. It combines richness and finesse thanks to its fine acidity, which lends elegance and tone to the long finish. This bottle, which will be at its best from 2015 onwards, is ideal as an aperitif and with sweet and sour fish". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014)
