Marcel Deiss Estate
Domaine Marcel Deiss is a family-owned winery established in 1744 in Bergheim, Alsace. Led by the talented Jean-Michel Deiss, Domaine Marcel Deiss cultivates 27 hectares of vineyards divided into 220 highly varied plots in the Alsace and Alsace Grand Cru appellations.

The Marcel Deiss vineyard is managed biodynamically, using traditional Alsatian winegrowing techniques (co-planting, plowing, hoeing, composting, grass cover), without weedkillers or chemical fertilizers. The emphasis is placed above all on the expression of the terroirs, with the estate working no less than 220 plots, all of which are co-planted. The terroir wines of Domaine Marcel Deiss naturally bear the mark of these high standards: they are wines that herald a return to the true centuries-old Alsatian tradition, a return to the golden age.
