"The 2016 Cabernet / Shiraz Bin 389 is a blend of 51% Cabernet and 49% Shiraz, the smallest amount of Cabernet ever seen in this bottling. It's dark and solid, with blackcurrant and blackberry notes as well as hints of vanilla and cedar. Full-bodied and dense, it's firmly in the Penfolds style and in the style of this particular vintage." (Wine Advocate 2018 - Joe Czerwinski) Also called Baby Grange because aged in the barrels of its big brother Grange, this cuvée has all the makings of a great one! - Packaged in screw cap -

About the wine:
The 2016 Cabernet / Shiraz Bin 389 is a blend of 51% Cabernet and 49% Shiraz, the smallest amount of Cabernet ever seen in this bottling. It's dark and solid, with blackcurrant and blackberry notes as well as hints of vanilla and cedar. Full-bodied and dense, it's firmly in the Penfolds style and in the style of this particular bottle, which always ages well, even if it's not Penfolds' brightest or most flamboyant offering.
