"A 100% Semillon direct from Australia, floral and aromatic, to drink or to keep!"

"Hard to believe that a wine with so much bright, crisp pear, starfruit and fresh herbs has less than 11% alcohol. The body is very slender and the finish is quite hard, but it's the fruit that wins! To drink or to keep" (James Suckling 2022) - Screw cap

About the wine:

In a region where climatic variations are as pronounced as in the Hunter Valley, the vintage has its importance. In 2022, the rains were abundant and the harvest late. The result is a lively, aromatic Semillon that provides an excellent, affordable introduction to this unique style. There are notes of candied lemon, beeswax, lamp oil, white spices and dried herbs. The palate is round and textured, with lively acidity. Floral, citrus and spicy notes blossom on the finish. A summer wine to enjoy with seafood or crumbly cheeses.
