Maison Le Nid
Since the estate was first farmed in the 20th century, it has been run by families. In 2012, the Lardet family bought this 6-hectare estate with a view to making the most of the Moulin-à-Vent terroir on which they had set down their roots. Thus, they renamed the estate "Le Nid".

The 12 plots that make up Maison Le Nid are worked by hand, using sustainable growing methods. Two of these parcels are vinified separately: "Rochegrés" and "La Rochelle".

"Elegant, subtle and powerful!"

"This bold, gourmand and highly structured Moulin-a-Vent has been designed for long cellaring. Some Beaujolais lovers may find it too tannic today, but we're confident it has an excellent future, as it also offers tons of blackcurrant fruit throughout the long finish. Drink now, but preferably from 2025." (James Suckling 2023)

"Tender, fine and fruity".

"This impressive Beaujolais has tons of ripe blackberries, soft tannins that support the generous palate and exhilarating mineral freshness in the long, firm but juicy finish." (James Suckling 2023)

"A delight to keep"

"Here's a pure Moulin-a-Vent that makes a very good introduction to this appellation, combining wild fruit and sour cherries with a fairly generous body, soft tannins and seductive freshness. Clean, harmonious finish". (James Suckling 2023)
