Richard Rottiers - Moulin-à-Vent Dernier Souffle 2022

92/100 James Suckling
"Moulin-à-Vent Dernier Souffle 2022 is a powerful wine with aromas of stewed blackberry, kirsch, cocoa and sweet earth. It's medium- to full-bodied and classically structured, with firm, fine-grained tannins supporting the heavy concentration of velvety fruit. It's just beginning to reveal its black pepper and wet stone salinity nuances that appear on the finish. I recommend leaving this wine in the cellar for a few years to allow the elements to amalgamate." (Robert Parker 2024)

91/100 Vinous
"Moulin-à-Vent 2022 exudes rich aromas of red and black cherries, spicy plums and ground ginger. The layered, medium- to full-bodied palate features zesty notes of tangerine and white pepper, combined with well-balanced acidity and fine but robust tannins that testify to the wine's aging capacity. The wine is persistent, with remarkable symmetry throughout. Very enjoyable." (Robert Parker 2024).
Richard Rottiers - Moulin-à-Vent Les Thorins 2019
94/100 Wine Enthusiast
A brand-new cuvée! A delicate, refined juice from granite hillside plots. This terroir, with its poor soils, magnifies the Gamay's aromatic potential, giving it a very special ageing potential: after a few years, the wine is said to "pinote". A subtle wine with a stunningly peppery mouthfeel.

93/100 Wine Enthusiast
"Just bottled, the 2019 Moulin-à-Vent opens in the glass with a pure, youthful primary bouquet of raspberries, red cherries and sweet wild berries. Medium- to full-bodied, deep and layered, it's still tightly wound, but its concentration and energy bode very well for positive evolution." (Wine Advocate 2020).
