Domaine de L'Etournet

Located on the south-east mid-slope of the Saint Amour vineyard at a place called "Les Billards", the domaine de L'Etournet covers 4.35 hectares. It has belonged to the Charlet family since the 18th century. The Charlet family were wine merchants and owners in Saint-Amour and Juliénas as early as 1754, as evidenced by Jean and Joseph Charlet's deed of partnership and various accounts of the period. Today the domaine de L'Etournet is part of Maison Jean Loron, a trading house that has been selling Maconnais and Beaujolais wines since 1821.
