"Located mid-slope in the Saint-Amour vineyard, on a sandstone pebble soil, this estate clearly has what it takes to produce a top-flight Beaujolais cru. Whole-cluster vinification remarkably enhances the Gamay grape's ability to deliver aromatic intensity (ripe red fruit, floral and spicy nuances). As for the palate, it combines concentration, richness and elegance. A complete and particularly seductive wine". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2019)

Agree with 1J1V's presentation. Good nose, cherry and blackberry on the palate, a silky side, good length. Seductive in its finesse, but still needs a little time to come into its own. So I can understand the disappointment of those who don't like this wine. Personally, I'm optimistic about its future over the next few years. Already, in March 2020, its finesse is becoming as surprising as its personality. During a meal, it dominates over two other comparable Saint-Amours. A must-buy!

I didn't know they made wine in Belgium. Everything about this wine is flat except the price! Even a Beaujolais Nouveau would do better. Don't hesitate to pass it by!

Bought to present Saint Amour to my wine club, I'm very disappointed with this wine, which is worth a maximum of 3 stars, but I'm downgraded to e for the disappointment it gives me. Finishing the bottle was not a pleasure.
