Like the great rosés of Provence, this Bordeaux rosé is the result of direct pressing of Left Bank grape varieties. A rarity in Bordeaux, it is vinified in the same way as the region's whites: 4 months in barrel to give this extraordinary rosé its fullness and deliciousness. A table rosé to accompany a spicy Mediterranean dish.

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
This estate, named after a Scottish wine merchant, was taken over by the Mau family in 2005, in association with the Dutch Dirkzwager. A passionate winegrower, Jean-Christophe Mau devotes a great deal of energy to it, advised by Stéphane Derenoncourt for the reds and Philippe Dulong for the whites. The wines are just right, fruity, harmonious and well-balanced. The whites are irreproachable, precise and pure. The reds are of a very high standard, with an assertive Leognan character. The cru is one of the appellation's leaders.

Domaine noté (guide 2022) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
This property, bought in 2005 by the Mau and Dirkzwager families, is now managed by Jean-Christophe Mau. He has carried out in-depth work on this terroir, which borders on the Château Olivier classified growth. Recent vintages have reached an excellent level, in a classic but full-bodied style that always favors fine tannins and fresh fruit.
