"New: a buddy wine with crunchy fruit!"

Deep, dense color, easy-drinking, with raspberry and coconut aromas. A real treat with charcuterie, bread and friends. Attractive price for a very drinkable wine. Good Glou Glou as we like it!

Guide Hachette des vins

Domaine noté (guide 2023) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)

About the domain :

In 1290, the Fontenille site in the Entre-deux-Mers region was already planted with vines. Then part of the Sauve-Majeure abbey, this estate with its siliceous-clay terroir became independent in the 17th century. Since 1998, it has been run by Stéphane Defraine, who heads 56 ha of vines, including 20 white and 36 red, currently undergoing organic conversion.

Yves Beck

Yves Beck

Rated wine (guide 2022) 89/100 (Vintage 2021)

About the wine:

With a surface area of 3ha, the vines have an average age of 21 years. The soil is sandy and gravelly loam. Fresh and fruity, the bouquet reveals chalky notes and red fruit aromas followed by hints of eucalyptus. Crisp and refreshing on the palate, the wine is juicy, lively and salivating. A crisp, inviting, thirst-quenching Bordeaux! Now - 2028
