About the wine:
An elegant, luminous pale color dresses this superb Cabernet-dominant rosé, which opens unreservedly with intense aromas of red berries (strawberry, raspberry), citrus (grapefruit) and flowers. The palate harmoniously combines mineral and fruity freshness, volume and soft, round flesh. Irresistible.
About the domain :
In 1290, the Fontenille site in the Entre-deux-Mers region was already planted with vines. Then part of the Sauve-Majeure abbey, this estate with its siliceous-clay terroir became independent in the 17th century. Since 1998, it has been run by Stéphane Defraine, who heads 56 ha of vines, including 20 white and 36 red, currently undergoing organic conversion.
