Château Tire Pé
Perched on clay-limestone slopes overlooking the Garonne River, Château Tire Pé, created in 1997, is a place for contemplation, but not only! Situated in the south-east of the Entre Deux Mers region (60 km south of Bordeaux), close to the small art and history town of La Réole, Château Tire Pé boasts 13 ha of vines, 10 ha of forest, walnut trees, meadows and an equestrian center.
In organic production since 2008, the estate has been certified organic (Ecocert) since 2014.

Respecting and revealing the typicity and authenticity of this singular and privileged terroir are the values that shape the different red wine cuvées in the Bordeaux AOC and "Vin de France" categories.

For David Barrault, "the winegrowing profession is a whole, a team effort in which each of us makes a valuable contribution. That's what makes it so rich, but also so complex, where it can be easy to get lost."

Accompanied by his wife Hélène and their 3 children, David Barrault keeps in touch with his intuitions, in tune with nature, which pursues its own cycles and evolutions. He adopts a philosophy that today tends towards values of freedom, authenticity, originality, simplicity, taste, nature, sharing and pleasure...

"100% Pineau d'Aunis

A very old and somewhat forgotten grape variety, Pineau d'Aunis here delivers a subtle cuvée full of charm in a blend of two vintages: 2019 and 2020. Certainly originating in the southwest of France, this nomadic grape variety is thought to have passed through the Charentes (Aunis and Saintonge) to settle in the Loire Valley, where it is particularly at home on the banks of the Loir. Aged in jars, the wine offers delicacy and freshness in a register of small red fruits, raspberry, spices and pepper. A real delight!

"Assembly of Castet and Mancin

"Castets and Mancin des palus make up this wine, with its fresh fruit, white flower notes, commendable acidity and delicious flavor. One of those wines that are said to be juicy and deep, the kind you finish the keel of in two seconds." (La Revue du Vin de France - November 2022). A rare and unprecedented cuvée, l'Échappée brings out of oblivion two great ancestral grape varieties of the Bordeaux region. Castet, which flourished in Aquitaine's vineyards before being forgotten after the ravages of phylloxera around 1880. Mancin des palus may date back to medieval times, and in the 18th century had a great reputation as a grape variety found in certain Graves and Médoc grands crus! An incredible story for this equally incredible cuvée.
