Bénédicte and Grégoire Hubau discovered the exceptional terroir of Moulin Pey-Labrie in 1988. They began their winemaking career shortly thereafter, guided by the expert advice of Michel Rolland. This is how the château's first Canon-Fronsac vintage was produced.
Château Moulin Pey-Labrie, located on clay-limestone slopes on molasse, covers 6.75 hectares of vineyards, mainly planted with Merlot. The vineyard is farmed organically.
The Hubau couple also own Château Haut-Larivau and Château des Combes-Canon.
