About the estate:
Marie-Hélène Léonard and Gilles Marsaudon, a former decorator, settled in Bourque in 2002. For several vintages, these new winemakers sought their style in extraction, but now the path seems to be leading towards vinification based on fruit and refinement. All their efforts and money are devoted to improving the vineyard and technical facilities. The investments are heavy, but the results are there. The La-Part-des-Fées cuvée, as well as Villa-Jeanne, an entry-level wine that is nevertheless aged in barrels, are at the top of their game in terms of charm, refinement, and balance. This is a property to watch closely.

About the estate:
This Côtes-de-Bourg estate takes its name from Sulpicius de Monteberiot, a 14th-century monk who founded the village of Mombrier. It was named by Gilles and Marie-Hélène Marsaudon, a former event decorator and a former wine sales representative who converted to winegrowing, who acquired this 7.3-hectare vineyard in 2003.
