Château de Monteberiot
Château de Monteberiot is an estate run by Gilles and Marie-Hélène Marsaudon, located in the heart of the Pays de Bourg in the commune of Mombrier (northern Gironde - right bank of the Estuary).

The Château de Monteberiot vineyard stretches over the slopes of Mombrier, on a beautiful terroir of colored clay and limestone, in a very hilly area with a predominantly south-westerly exposure. Our aim is to give full meaning to the expression "Culture raisonnée" (integrated viticulture): natural weeding, tillage, phyto-sanitary treatments limited to what is strictly necessary, weeding under the rows alternating with ploughing.

From pruning to harvesting, everything is done at Château de Monteberiot to obtain the best possible grape quality, with the watchwords: yield control and the quest for optimal ripeness (leaf thinning, thinning, green harvesting). Guided by plot selection, harvesting is either manual or mechanical, depending on the desired cuvée. The grapes are destemmed and sorted on a table before being placed in vats.

Vinification, ageing and bottling take place in Château de Monteberiot's own cellars.
