"The marriage of clay-limestone terroir and sauvignon (80% of the blend) expresses itself perfectly in this wide-open wine with fruity, saline, vegetal aromas and a hint of spice. lots of personality on the palate too: a frank, lively attack, then roundness, fullness, a consistent structure, a very fruity side that's very tasty, a lovely energetic, acidic finish. ideal for aperitifs or seafood." About the wine:
The marriage of clay-limestone terroir and Sauvignon (80% of the blend) is perfectly expressed in this wide-open wine, with fruity, saline, vegetal aromas and a hint of spice. The palate is also full of personality: a frank, lively attack, followed by roundness, fullness, a consistent structure, a very fruity, delicious side, and a beautiful, energetic, acidic finish. ideal for aperitifs or seafood.
About the domain :
Jean-Luc Buffeteau, who returned to the family land in 1998, manages 29 ha of vines on the rolling hills of the Entre-deux-Mers region, in the heart of the Sauveterrois, in the communes of Castelviel and Gornac. He produces two labels, La Grande Métairie and Haut Dambert.

Correction to previous review - wine tasted too early Very nice acidic nose. On the palate, notes of citrus fruit and white flowers fill the mouth. Ideal with seafood and exceptional value for money.

Very pleasant but a little disappointed compared to the presentation on the 1J1V sheet. I find it a little light, but the fruit and fragrances are pleasant.

Admittedly not a wine for aging, but flowery, round and delightfully enchanting on the palate with its notes of white flowers. Value for money that really deserves a 5/5,
