On the nose, Merlot predominates, with hints of vanilla, prunes and toast. The ever-present cask accompanies the wine well. The attack is supple, the tannins elegant and mellow. Relatively complex on the palate, with a long, lingering finish. The whole is very elegant and expressive! Excellent value for money. Best decanted or opened the day before.
