Cérons Castle
Château de Cérons is based in a 17th-century wine-growing charterhouse on a terrace overlooking the Garonne River in the heart of the village of Cérons.
Xavier and Caroline Perromat took over the management of the family property in 2012. Since then, they have achieved a great deal, replanting vineyards, renovating the cellars, particularly the concrete gravity cellar, and opening Château de Cérons to visitors. The entire team at the estate is committed to constantly improving the quality of their work and the wines produced in one of the most exclusive and oldest appellations in Bordeaux, Cérons.
The Château de Cérons vineyard covers 30 hectares planted on a gravel plateau with limestone subsoil overlooking the village. This terroir, with its unique soil and climate, offers the privilege of producing wines of three colors: red Graves, dry white Graves, and Cérons, Bordeaux's golden wines.
An emblem of the sweet wines of the Cérons appellation, Château de Cérons passionately defends this little-known appellation, the smallest in Gironde, which is highly prized by wine lovers.
