A seductive vintage, distinguished by its dazzling aromatic dimension, supported by an energetic structure and grainy tannins that unfold a tender, unctuous juice with sweet, concentrated black fruit flavors, complemented by spicy, toasty aromas. The sapid, fresh finish is slightly virile. One of the Médoc's finest RQPs. At its peak, it was appreciated with Limousin rib steaks braised Bordeaux-style, accompanied by porcini mushrooms. Score = 3.9.
