Château Clément-Pichon
Located on the outskirts of Bordeaux in the commune of Parempuyre, Château Clément-Pichon has been restored to its former glory. The estate's history dates back to the 16th century, with the Pichon family at the helm, several of whose members played a major role in the history of the city of Bordeaux.

In 1976, Clément Fayat acquired this Haut-Médoc wine estate and completely restructured the vineyard, replanting all the plots and modernizing the facilities. With an original grape variety for the Médoc, over 70% Merlot, the wine develops a gourmet style. Since 2012, his son Jean-Claude Fayat has officially managed the various family estates, including Château La Dominique, a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé, and Château Fayat in Pomerol. He is accompanied by one of the Bordeaux region's most famous oenologists, Michel Rolland.

Thanks to its consistency and value for money, Château Clément-Pichon has been awarded the rank of "Cru Bourgeois Supérieur" since the 2018 vintage. It's a charming, expressive, structured wine, with a characteristic woodiness.

"Very good value for money!"

"Clément-Pichon 2018 is a powerful, typified Haut-Médoc. Iron, dried herbs, tobacco, menthol and coffee give the 2018 layers of nuance. More dynamic than voluminous, this is a very impressive wine. This cru bourgeois supérieur has a lot to offer." (Vinous 2021) - A Cru Bourgeois supérieur in the bosom of the Fayat family like the eponymous Château in Pomerol and La Dominique in Saint-Emilion.
