Château Doyac
Château Doyac is an old Haut-Médoc estate acquired in 1998 by Max de Pourtalès, a former banking financier.

Château Doyac is located on the limestone bedrock of Saint-Seurin de Cadourne. On these beautiful, gently south-facing hilltops, with drainage completely redone in 1998, Max de Pourtalès produces a Grand Vin of character (close to the best St Estèphe wines), combining structure and finesse.

The terroir of Château Doyac is planted with 80% Merlot, which also confers remarkable roundness, making it a worthy representative of the great Médoc wines (close to the best St Estèphe and adjacent to Châteaux Sociando-Mallet and Charmail).

3.6/5 (8 reviews)

This Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois offers a nose of beautiful aromatic intensity with scents of fresh, ripe fruit, supported by woody, toasty notes. A structured, round, fruity wine with fine, silky tannins. All elegance!
