Château La Grange de Bessan
Château La Grange de Bessan was born of the ideal conditions for growing Cabernet Sauvignon on the limestone soils of the Civrac islet (very little soil on an omnipresent, outcropping limestone rock). Establishing Château La Grange de Bessan's AOC Haut-Médoc vineyard in such conditions was a costly, arduous and time-consuming task. It required considerable technical resources, adapted rootstocks and a great deal of patience. Château La Grange de Bessan 's vines receive a supply of water worthy of a viticulture manual. The water supply is perfect, just sufficient, never excessive, never lacking, and the grapes are rich and concentrated.

Château La Grange de Bessan benefits from all the technology and know-how of Vignobles Lacombe. The spirit of this company, which comprises several estates in Bordeaux, including Château Bessan Ségur, is characterized by a rigorous quest for perfectionism, a significant commitment to quality right from the vineyard, and ultra-modern vinification and ageing facilities on a single site.
