1*Étoile

Hachette

"Young, intense color; no less intense, harmonious bouquet blending stewed fruit, menthol and cocoa nuances; full, rich, dense palate, elegantly oaky and solidly structured, even a little austere on the finish: everything points to a very nice wine in three to five years' time." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014)

About the wine:

Over the last few years, this family-run cru has established itself as a benchmark for the appellation, as witnessed by the "coup de coeur" awarded to its 2009 in the previous edition. Véronique Gaboriaud has now produced a 2010 which, while not reaching the same heights, holds its own. A youthful, intense color; a no less intense, harmonious bouquet combining stewed fruit, menthol and cocoa nuances; a full, rich, dense palate, elegantly oaky and solidly structured, even a little austere on the finish: everything points to a very attractive wine in three to five years' time.
