"Four generations of the same family have cultivated this 26-hectare vineyard, which is mainly planted with Merlot. This ripe and juicy wine is rich in tannins, oak aromas, and black fruit. Age the wine to soften the dry tannins and drink it from 2025 onwards." (Wine Enthusiast 2018) Charm and potential!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2020 guide) Selected (An estate or winery that impressed us with one or more of its wines, but where we are unable to give an overall opinion on the style of the entire range)
About the estate:
The Listrac winery was founded in the 1930s and its partnership with the Compagnie des Wagons-Lits until 1990 greatly contributed to its reputation. In 2017, it joined forces with the Cussac cooperative winery to create the Vignerons associés de Moulis, Listrac et Cussac Fort Médoc. Forty-three winegrowers are members, representing a total of 164 hectares of vineyards. The châteaux Guitignan, Vieux Moulin, and Capdet are among the fine properties belonging to this new association.
