"[...] His Rose Perrière 2013 earns a Favorite that echoes the one obtained for the 2011. Hand-harvested Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc were matured in 500-l barrels. The result is a superb Lussac, with a deep, dark color and an exuberant nose of black fruits and morello cherries, enhanced by empyreumatic, vanilla and spicy notes. Very powerful on the palate, framed by dense, silky tannins, underlined by a pleasant freshness that enhances the long finish.
