Chateau Marquis de Terme
Château Marquis de Terme is owned by the Sénéclauze family. In January 2009, between the second and third generations, Ludovic David became the director and, with the support of the owners, embarked on a far-reaching policy of international expansion.

As a result, Château Marquis de Terme has undertaken a number of projects, including the renovation and fitting out of a new tasting room, technical renovations and investments in the winery, as well as a new investment in international press relations.

The Château Marquis de Terme vineyard, located in the communes of Margaux and Cantenac, covers 40 hectares. Of Garonne origin, the gravelly soils are the hallmark of the great Margaux terroir. Gravel is made up of gravel, pebbles, sand and silt. In the vineyard, we work the soil and harvest the grapes by hand, eliminating the use of weedkillers. A policy of respect for the environment and ecological balances is implemented, and the estate is managed using the "lutte raisonnée" method.

"A Grand Cru Classé on the rise!

"After a very hot, dry summer, the rains at the end of September were particularly beneficial. The Marquis de Terme team took full advantage of these weather conditions to produce a great wine, with admirable balance. The nose reveals a real complexity of red fruit, blackcurrant, pepper and eucalyptus. On the palate, this Margaux is full-bodied, dense and round, with a great deal of freshness, supported by absolutely fine tannins and perfectly-adjusted oak. A wine to keep for a long time, of course". (Guide Hachette - Edition 2023) - Delivery in wooden cases possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).

Fleur de Marquis de Terme 2016, with its garnet-red color and purple highlights, exudes elegant cherry aromas with floral, vanilla and cocoa notes. The attack on the palate is fresh, well-balanced and supported by supple tannins. A wine with fruity notes in a silky, fresh package.
