Château Haut-Maurac

Château Haut-Maurac is owned by Olivier Decelle, a true wine and vineyard enthusiast. In 1999, he took over the remarkable Mas Amiel estate (Roussillon) and turned it into an undisputed success story with a global reputation. A passion that led him a few years later to Bordeaux to take over three properties with a prestigious past, Châteaux Jean Faure, Haut-Ballet and Château Haut-Maurac ( AOC Médoc), located among the most beautiful terroirs on the right and left banks of Bordeaux.

A thorough reorganization, unfailing rigor in the cellars and vineyards, and the talent of their new owner, surrounded by a team of passionate people, have restored these estates to their former glory. The entire Château Haut-Maurac vineyard, located in the Médoc appellation area, is managed using sustainable agriculture methods. Leaf removal, debudding, green harvesting, and tilling between the rows of vines are all carried out to ensure optimal yields and grape quality worthy of these prodigious Bordeaux terroirs.
