About the estate:
The Espiot family, already owners in the Blaye region, took over this estate, formerly known as Ch. Ladoar, in 2004: 8.7 hectares not far from the châteaux Smith Haut Lafitte and Bouscaut. Sébastien Espiot has been at the helm since 2007, returning to the family estates after spending ten years working for a multinational company.

Very light wine, insufficiently dense structure. In 2019, it is reaching the end of its life. Does not deserve the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Ruby color with orange rim. Classic nose with hints of strawberry and orange. Soft on the palate, reminiscent of the strawberry flavor found in certain Chinon or Saumur wines. Lacking in subtlety. Reminds me of a really low-end Saint-Estèphe. I imagine the owners will continue to upgrade this vintage. In the meantime, a product of no interest. Best forgotten.
