Château Haut-Bailly
Château Haut-Bailly was founded in 1630 by a Parisian banker, Firmin Le Bailly. However, its history was greatly influenced in the 19th century by an extraordinary figure: Alcide Bellot des Minières, who brought scientific rigor to its management and raised its prices to the level of those of the "Premiers Crus." After him, various owners succeeded one another.

Daniel Sanders acquired Château Haut-Bailly in 1955 and set about restoring it, returning the vineyard to its original size and equipping it with the necessary equipment and tools for producing a quality wine. Since 1979, his son Jean Sanders has taken over and completed his work. The distinction, bouquet, richness, and color, as well as their good development and structure, make Château Haut-Bailly wines wines of great pedigree, worthy of being placed among the top wines of France.

The current owners, Robert and Elisabeth Wilmers, are determined to focus primarily on quality at all stages of production and wine selection. Château Haut-Bailly was one of the first to produce second wines, since in 1967 the finest batches that did not have the desired structure for the first wine were marketed under the name "La Parde de Haut-Bailly."
