Wow, dark berries and violets on the nose, so sensual, rich and round. Beautifully fresh on the palate, there's a burst of red fruit juiciness but also a lovely refreshing coolness right from the start. A touch of blue fruit, but there's also strawberry, raspberry and red cherry. Supple tannins with a slightly chalky grip coat the palate, giving it structure and body. So linear and straight but also layered. Excellent!

"Cultivating a personal and terribly endearing style, this property, acquired in 1998 by American banker Robert Wilmers, offers a wine of unique uprightness and class.Véronique, Sanders, granddaughter of the former owner, carefully manages this classified growth on a daily basis, with the highly competent technical director Gabriel Vialard.
