"A high-quality white wine that stands the test of time ~ La RVF"
"An oily texture but a magnificent juicy core with lively acidity and notes of ripe green apple, creamy peach, and slightly bitter orange and toasted lemon on the finish. The acidity is excellent and really supports the wine. Well-constructed, with lots of nuance, interest, and aging potential." (Decanter 2023)

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2022 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)
About the estate:
This classified growth is a model family estate, with all the Kressmann children displaying an almost filial attachment to their heritage and very sound management. The red wine has gained greatly in tannin finesse and texture elegance. The wines are classic, with an emphasis on fruit, tannin quality, and freshness. Under the leadership of the highly talented and rigorous Valérie Vialard, the white wines are flawless, precise, aromatic, and perfectly lively.

Rated estate (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About wine:
With its attractive golden color and green highlights, this 2021 vintage presents itself with elegance. On the nose, it reveals delicate aromas of yuzu, white flowers, and toasted oak. On the palate, it is fresh, mineral, and salty, enveloped in a pleasant richness that adds to its silky, indulgent character. A very harmonious whole. 2024-2028
About the estate:
While many of the big names in Bordeaux wine trading chose to set up in the Médoc, the Kressmanns opted for the Graves region and this vineyard, acquired in 1930, which owes its name to a tower adorning its courtyard, a remnant of a castle built in the 12th century by Montesquieu's ancestors. A beautiful 50-hectare estate renowned for both its white and red wines.

Rated estate (2023 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the estate:
This is a fine example of a family estate, still owned by the Kressmanns, a historic family of Bordeaux wine merchants. Tristan and Loïc Kressmann are now at the helm of this classified growth, which enjoys an excellent location on the Martillac plateau. Each generation has respected the heritage handed down to them, while making progress in vineyard management and winemaking with their cellar master, Valérie Vialard. The château inaugurated a new winery for red wines with the 2019 vintage. Without succumbing to passing fads, the wines have retained their elegant and precise style, while gaining in density. This very convincing balance between tradition and modernity, as well as the particularly distinguished character of the latest vintages, lead us to award Latour-Martillac a second star.

About wine:
Aromas of smoked gooseberries, minerality of shellfish, waxed lemons, and cream. The bright and lively palate shows good fullness and mineral tension. Salty, concentrated, and long. Drink now or keep.
Terre de Vins
Wine rated (2022 guide) 93/100
About wine:
Like its counterparts among the appellation's white Crus Classés, this 2021 vintage reveals delicate notes of white flowers and lively citrus fruit. This tension is also found on the palate, prolonging the pleasure with a long finish featuring notes of lime. A refreshing wine.

About wine:
Flowers, green apples, vanilla, lemon cream, and pineapple create an enticing aroma. Vibrant, racy citrus fruits, white peaches, and mandarins fill the palate and linger on a long, lively finish. Drink between 2024 and 2034.
