Château Olivier
Château Olivier produces a Graves Grand Cru Classé in the Pessac-Léognan AOC, an appellation that has made spectacular progress over the past fifteen years. Anchored in history, Château Olivier is located 11 kilometers from Bordeaux, at the heart of a 220-hectare estate comprising meadows, century-old oak and pine woods, but above all a 55-hectare vineyard on two distinct gravelly hilltops.

Château Olivier has the rare distinction of being endowed with excellent terroirs for both red and white wines. The low fertility of the gravelly and clayey soils, combined with the precocity of the climate, enables the Cabernet Sauvignon to reach optimum ripeness. Deep gravel terroirs on marl are ideal for Merlot, combining concentration and freshness. Finally, the shallow terroirs on limestone slopes offer the best conditions for producing racy white wines, favoring fruity aromas and liveliness.

"Impressively fleshy, round, velvety, yet balanced ~ Le Figaro"

"Dark purple color with violet highlights and a black core. Very elegant nose of ripe dark berries, plums and cherries, with hints of oriental spices and discreet smoky notes in the background. The palate is well structured with ripe tannins, plenty of freshness and great depth of flavor. A wonderful wine with excellent length. (Markus Del Monego 2021) - Delivery in wooden cases possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).

"It remains one of the best whites you can buy in Bordeaux! ~ Decanter

"Beautiful quality, with a slight acidity on the attack. Seems to have moved away from the slightly reductive style of Château Olivier whites of recent years (perhaps I'm in the minority who miss this), bringing out fleshy flavors of citrus and lemongrass, accompanied by notes of spice and freshly cut herbs. It remains one of the best whites you can buy in Bordeaux". (Decanter 2021) - Delivery in wooden cases possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).

" Finesse was already Olivier's signature during the Primeurs tasting. It remains filigree and elegant, with red berry aromas followed by a hint of menthol. Its soft, velvety character on the palate already makes it very approachable, while the acid structure contributes to a pleasant freshness. An elegant, sapid wine ". "A fair compromise between elegance and power. Subtly fruity, floral and spicy on the nose, with a fine minerality, full-bodied and dense on the palate, with a smooth texture and excellent freshness on the finish". (Le Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France 2014). A complex wine, with a harmonious blend of wood, licorice and tobacco aromas... - Delivery in original wooden crate for orders of 12 bottles delivered in France.
