Château La Pointe
Visit Château La Pointe has always produced quality wines, but wine professionals wine professionals have long agreed that it is far from having reached expressed its full potential. That's why, in 2008, when Eric Monneret took over took over the reins of the property purchased by the Generali group, everything was done to give the château a new dynamic. château a new dynamic.

From then on, major projects were undertaken to bring out the full richness of this vineyard: soil studies and drainage work and drainage work to improve the quality of the grapes, and rigorous quality of the grapes, rigorous plot management to optimize the diversity and reveal the finesse of Right Bank grape varieties. Renovation of the vat room has also enabled us to vinify while respecting the particularities of each of each of La Pointe's parcels. Finally, Eric Monneret has enlisted the help advice of a new consultant, Hubert De Boüard, co-owner of Château Angelus.

"All the charm of Pomerol!

"Superb olfactory intensity that highlights both the charm of Pomerol and the relevance of the La Pointe team's approach, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Nuances of tea leaves, tobacco and mint, while the fruity side reveals itself through dark berry scents. A lot of finesse, precision and temperament in this wine which is, as director Eric Monneret says, a fine synthesis of 2018 and 2019... The best La Pointe the La Pointe team has produced to date". second wine
ready to drink

A deep, brilliant color with light violet highlights. The nose offers a multitude of notes of black fruit, cherry cherry, blackberry and blueberry. The palate is succulent, with polished polished, well-integrated tannins. The finish leaves an impression of a wine full of energy. This is a second wine of a harmonious, suave vintage.
