Owned by Bernard Arnaud and Baron Albert Frère, and managed by Pierre Lurton, the 37-hectare Château Cheval-Blanc vineyard is located in the commune of Saint-Emilion, on the edge of the Pomerol appellation. An exceptional, high-quality terroir planted with Cabernet Franc, the majority, and Merlot. The wines of Château Cheval-Blanc have both the fatness and opulence of AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru wines produced on clay soils, and the finesse and tight tannic structure of wines produced on gravelly soils.
