Clos des Jacobins
Clos des Jacobins, situated on a ridge between Libourne and Saint-Émilion, has been owned by Vignobles Magali and Thibaut Decoster, who also own Château La Commanderie, since 2004. From that moment on, they set about restructuring these estates and modernizing their production facilities to make them the jewels in the appellation's crown.
Created in the 17th century, the Clos des Jacobins vineyard now covers 8.5 hectares of hillside vines in a single block, on an early and generous terroir of limestone rock, clay and limestone scree, facing south. The entire winery has been completely renovated, enabling more precise and controlled vinification and more subtle ageing.
Clos des Jacobins won the Coupe des Grands Crus Classés de Saint-Emilion in Hong Kong in 2006. Clos des Jacobins wines are models of complexity and balance, with great consistency and great ageing potential.

"Clos des Jacobins presents itself with ripe fruit and lovely freshness. Crisp, sapid palate, al dente fruit, lovely tone, precise tannins, pleasant tension. This is a fresh, amiable wine, with a certain greediness, well in the spirit of the vintage." (Terre de Vins 2019) - Delivered in wooden cases for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery).
