Château Figeac
Château Figeac is a very old Saint-Emilion estate. Its 40 hectares of vines produce a renowned AOC Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé. Its singular grape varieties - on gravel - 70% Cabernet (half Cabernet Franc, half Cabernet Sauvignon) and only 30% Merlot, make Château Figeac "the most Medoc-like of Saint-Emilions".

A large part of Château Figeac's vineyard is planted on soils composed mainly of ancient sands of wind origin, extraordinarily filtering, which enable high-quality viticulture. Part of Château Figeac 's main vat room consists of 10 oak vats. Each vintage is aged in 100% new oak barrels for 18 to 20 months.

"Figeac remains an absolute: breathtaking delicacy, incredible freshness and legendary aging potential!"

"An invitation to travel, with a sumptuous nose of trembling fruit, ranging from red to black to blue. Notes of blackcurrant, elderberry and redcurrant, followed by sweet, exhilarating flowers. Absolute magic on the palate, beginning with breathtaking delicacy and ending with beautifully restrained power. First in a trio of Figeacs at the pinnacle of this beautiful terroir, the 2018 possesses the sensuality of luxurious black lace, corseting its fine, sumptuous, chiseled body. Voluptuous black fruit with incredible freshness, gracefully giving way to wisps of exotic spices and mineral accents, for an unsettling finish." (Le Figaro 2021) - Delivery in wooden cases possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).

"A "fabulous" 2nd wine according to Vinous!"

"Blackberry notes on the nose, with some touches of herbal perfume that are so appealing. The texture is smooth and soft, with chalky nuances and aspects of black cherry, strawberry and blackcurrant leaf giving structure and body. Succulent and juicy with mouth-watering freshness. Very dynamic and full of life. Very approachable, with the same vein of refinement and charm that Figeac is so good at. " (Decanter 2022) - Delivery in wooden cases possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).

"Very dark, undeniably sunny, very powerful, the wine combines voluptuous superlative texture and authoritative Cabernet length (43% Sauvignon and 28% Franc). Nevertheless, it has been considerably refined during the ageing process, to rediscover the architectural tension typical of Figeac, which will reassure aficionados of the château. Very long ageing potential". (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2018 - RVF). Château Figeac offers great aromatic brilliance, a unique character, racy and recognizable among the greatest Bordeaux. Delivery in wooden cases for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery).

"This wine has a fruity, juicy character that comes from its predominantly Cabernet blend. Just touched by wood, like a true Bordeaux second wine, it already shows an intensely fruity perfume. With fresh acidity and a lively style, this wine is ready to drink." (Wine Enthusiast 2016) Delivery in wooden case for all orders of 12 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery).

Petit Figeac 2008

Notes : Gault millau 16/20, Bettane & Desseauve 15/20
" Le Petit Figeac has nothing to envy from the great, for it is a beautifully crafted wine with a pleasing aromatic expression, both on the nose and on the palate, where the tannins are silky and where we taste pretty juicy fruit, roundness with just the right acidity and length. This is a gourmet wine. This is a gourmet wine". (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2012 - Gault Millau) - Delivered in original wooden cases for orders of 12 bottles delivered in France.
