"Nothing confidential here, no small hand-crafted cuvée, but a grand cru that combines quantity and quality. A very complete wine, with a beautiful dark burgundy color, a nose that is both powerful and fine, very Merlot in its ripe, greedy fruitiness, with an elegant woody, licorice and smoky aftertaste. Very Merlot on the palate too, the wine is suave, round to perfection, full-bodied without being heavy, tannic without being aggressive, woody with just the right touch. In short, a most harmonious whole, which will please young and old alike". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2016)

Drunk in 01/21. This vintage's lack of amplitude is made up for by finesse, delicacy and charm.
