Château Moulin Riche

Château Moulin Riche is a Bordeaux growth owned by the Cuvelier family. Since 1920, the Cuvelier family, wine merchants in Lille since 1804, has presided over the destiny of the prestigious Château Léoville Poyferré, 2nd Cru classé in the Saint-Julien appellation, which extends over 80 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Médoc. On this fabulous terroir of Garonne gravel, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, 20 hectares are devoted to the château's second wine, Château Moulin Riche.

Thanks to an effective restructuring and modernization program, Didier Cuvelier has made Château Moulin Riche one of the jewels in the crown of the Saint-Julien appellation. The methods used to produce Château Moulin Riche wines are all geared towards the same objective: to obtain the very best quality. Small yields, ruthlessly sorted manual harvests, vinifications supervised by oenologist Michel Rolland, and barrel fermentations are the most significant constraints.
