"Charming and exuberant, Clément's 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Noir overflows with aromas of red plum, cherry and spice. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and supple, with an ample core of succulent fruit enlivened by a delicate touch that underscores its crisp, eminently drinkable fruit profile." Tasting & pairing
Eye
Rich purple color, deepening to ruby with age, with hints of violet.
Nose
The bouquet opens with a basket of red and black berries (strawberry, cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry), evolving to cooked prune, peppery, animal and undergrowth nuances, moss and mushroom.
Mouth
Red Burgundy is lively and structured on the palate, with a supple, round backbone. Its tannins and fruit hold a tête-à-tête where chewiness balances the impulse of secondary aromas. Full-bodied, fleshy, in a word: vinous.
