"The estate's flagship cuvée, sublime!"
The domaine's flagship cuvée, "les Ormes" is made from plot-selected vines aged from 35 to over 60 years in the Meursault commune. These old vines and this confidential terroir make for a sublime, highly coveted white. Finesse, fatness, elegance and persistence, this wine has all the characteristics of its "big brother", Meursault. On the palate, it combines the density of ripe fruit with a definite acidity that gives it uprightness. Sublime!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated 14.5/20 (Vintage 2017) (Good wine)
Domaine rated (2020 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
Born of winegrower and cooper parents, Sylvain Dussort and his wife set up in 1982, and now farm 6.5 hectares in regional and village appellations in Meursault and Chorey-lès-Beaune. Their viticultural methods are opposed to systematic pest control, and vinification uses only indigenous yeasts, in the Burgundian tradition, with barrel ageing. Sylvain is also an advocate of the new Bourgogne Côte d'Or appellation, which he proudly claims as of the 2017 vintage.
