Sylvain Dussort - Les Beaumonts 2019
3.5/5 (2 reviews)
Made from vines planted between Savigny-les-Beaune and Aloxe-Corton, Chorey-lès-Beaune Les Beaumonts is an ideal introduction to Burgundy wines. Very fine and complex, with notes of red fruit and raspberry, it reveals itself with great elegance on the nose. On the palate, it's powerful but above all delicate, with smooth, fine tannins. A very fine Pinot Noir!
Sylvain Dussort - Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2019
4/5 (1 review)
87/100 Wine Enthusiast
To be enjoyed young, this Bourgogne Pinot Noir reveals the early aromas of the Burgundy grape variety. Luscious and fruity, with notes of red berries, this is a wine for immediate pleasure. Supple, round tannins give this cuvée a light structure.
Sylvain Dussort - Meursault Vieilles Vignes 2018
3.5/5 (2 reviews)
15,5/20 Bettane & Desseauve
In its youth, this Meursault evokes ripe grapes, with vegetal and floral aromas. After a few years' ageing, the palate becomes rich and unctuous, while remaining very fresh, with notes of honey and hazelnut. A blend of several parcels over 50 years old, the diversity of terroirs brings complexity and harmony to this astonishing Meursault.
Sylvain Dussort - Cuvée des Ormes 2019
4.3/5 (7 reviews)
16,5/20 Jancis Robinson
"Full aroma of apple skin. Excellent zesty acidity far from unattractive! Quite unusual but a lot of fun. Not so long but clean and satisfying. I think I should score this wine 16.5 to draw attention to its distinctive character. Almost spritzy. I really like it even though it's not classic." (Jancis Robinson). The domaine's flagship cuvée, "Les Ormes" is made from plot-selected vines aged from 35 to over 60 years in the commune of Meursault. These old vines and this confidential terroir make for a sublime, highly coveted white. Sublime!
Sylvain Dussort - Bourgogne Aligoté 2019
3.7/5 (6 reviews)
87/100 RVF
"Despite a hint of reduction, it offers lovely sapidity in a dense, lively yet fleshy body." (La Revue du Vin de France - June 2021). This Bourgogne Aligoté is atypical for its appellation. The vines on the outskirts of the village of Meursault range in age from 35 to over 80 years. Aged on lees for several months, the fruit is very present and a pleasant floral bouquet emerges. On the palate, is round and generous, with fleshiness and a light acidity.
Sylvain Dussort - Bourgogne Cuvée des Coutures 2013
14/20 RVF (G&M)
Planted in the village of Meursault, the Chardonnay vines produce a round, full-bodied wine with notes of fresh, exotic fruit. Good acidity adds a fresh touch to the long finish.
