With its limpid, straw-gold color and floral, acacia-scented nose, the singularity of Les Fourneaux is immediately apparent in the glass. On the palate, white flower aromas express themselves in splendor. The minerality underlines the finesse and typicity of this wine of great purity and length. A signature cuvée!

Rated 16.5/20 (Vintage 2017) (Reference wine)
Domain rated (2022 guide) 3*Stars (High-quality production, a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
We've been following this domaine for some time now, and are delighted with the seriousness and steady progress of Charly Nicolle. Exploiting the terroirs of Fleys, including the two premiers crus Les Fourneaux and the easternmost part of Mont de Milieu, he extracts a short range with great density on the palate, bringing out the minerality of each cru. A sure bet for the sector.

About the domain :
Charly Nicolle's great-grandparents already cultivated vines. Following in the footsteps of previous generations, the young winemaker set off on his own adventure. Settled in Fleys, to the east of Chablis, he created his own domaine in 2011, nurturing his 17 ha of Chardonnay, and has established himself as an established name in Chablis. He also runs the family domaine of La Mandelière.
