"The nose reveals a fragrance of wild berries and red fruit. The aroma carries over to the taut palate where a firm structure hovers, brightening the wine. The fine tannins are crisp, while freshness makes itself felt, counterbalanced by the ripeness of the 2018 vintage." (Wine Enthusiast 2020)

Wine rated 94/ 100
Domain rated (2022 guide) 3*Stars (High-quality production, a benchmark in its sector)
About the wine:
The fresh, fruity nose is reminiscent of wild raspberries. On the palate, the wine is beautifully caressing, round yet taut. Clearly in the making, but already almost approachable.
About the domain :
With 47 hectares in 25 climats, this family estate, assembled from innumerable parcels, boasts a unique winegrowing heritage, including a first-rate representation of the Corton hillside. The wines are faithful to their original terroirs, unpretentious and full of sincerity. The estate is managed by Dominique Guyon, and will be certified organic from the 2018 vintage. The reds, made from partially destemmed grapes, combine ripe fruit and fine tannins. They are faithful representatives of their terroir of origin, with a successful range of reds in 2018, where Corton Clos-du-Roi is leading the way, which is not unusual. In white, outstanding Meursault charmes-dessus and Pernand sous-frétille.

Domain rated (guide 2022) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the wine:
The largest of the appellation's climats. Dominique Guyon cultivates 86 ares here, the source of this profound wine, which opens with intense aromas of ripe berries and more acidic fruit. Full-bodied, round and silky on the palate, with a lively finish and tannins that show their muscles. A wine to keep for a long time.
About the domain :
Since the 1960s, this estate has built up a vast 48-hectare vineyard (certified organic), mainly planted with 1st and Grand Crus, from Gevrey-Chambertin to Meursault. Dominique Guyon, Antonin's son, manages the estate's consistent quality.

About the domain :
Founded in 1960 by Antonin Guyon, the domaine is now run by his son Dominique, who is passionate about winemaking, and supervised by Greek oenologist Kyriakos Kynigopoulos. The range on offer is extensive, with highlights in Côte de Nuits including a remarkable Chambolle Clos du Village and, in Côte de Beaune, four superb Cortons, including a Corton-Charlemagne.

About the domain :
This large 48-hectare estate is located in Savigny-lès-Beaune. In the 1960s, Antonin Guyon purchased parcels from Gevrey-Chambertin to Meursault. In 1970, his son Dominique completed the estate. He succeeded in bringing together 350 parcels belonging to nearly 80 owners in the commune of Meuilley in the Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuits, representing a total of 22 hectares. Today, Dominique Guyon runs the estate and carries out the vinifications with the help of his cellar master, who is also his vineyard manager, Vincent Nicot. The vineyard is particularly well tended, with ploughing, moderate soil improvement, limited yields and grapes always sorted at harvest time. The domaine offers a wide range of wines in both Côte-de-Nuits and Côte-de-Beaune, with many 1ers Crus and a few Grands Crus de Corton and a Charmes-Chambertin. All the wines have great fruit and density.
