Criots-Bâtard is the only Grand Cru in the Montrachets family to be located exclusively in the commune of Chassagne-Montrachet. At the foot of the Bâtards and Montrachets, it produces white wines of international renown, recognized as some of the greatest Chardonnays in the world... This 2007 brilliantly expresses all the cru's potential, with great personality and great ageing potential.

About the domain :
This ancient estate, which dates back to the 18th century, now covers 24 hectares. It is run by Roger Belland, who took over in 1981, his daughter Julie, who arrived in 2003 and is in charge of vinification, and their new collaborator Martin Boyer. Not certified organic here, but viticulture raisonnée (total grassing of the vineyard, no weedkillers), and wines of great consistency.
