"Pleasant intensity"

Draped in a ruby satin robe, this cuvée will enchant you with its captivating notes of blackberry, violet, and rose. On the palate, a hint of pepper enhances the whole, bringing structure, intensity, and balance. Enjoy it young or let it age.

Rated estate (2021 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

Bertrand Bachelet, a young winemaker who settled here in 2011, is at the helm of this 13-hectare estate stretching from Maranges to Pommard. Sustainable viticulture and the Royat cordon are the norm here, as are mass selections developed from the estate's oldest vines. The range is characterized by wines with ripe, intense fruitiness. The reds, which account for the vast majority of production, are vinified after destemming in concrete vats and have silky tannins, while the whites, without bâtonnage, offer roundness and juicy, honeyed orchard fruit aromas.
