Domaine de la Ferté
The history of Domaine de la Ferté dates back to the 12th century, when the vines on the current estate were cultivated by the abbey of Citeaux. 

The Domaine de la Ferté vineyard covers 2.37 hectares of vines, including 1 hectare of Premier Cru, planted on the best terroirs of the Givry appellation. The Pinot Noir grapes, on average 35 years old, are grown in a sustainable way.

Domaine de la Ferté is owned by the Devillard family (Château de Chamirey, Domaine des Perdrix, Domaine de la Garenne).

Aged 12 months in barrels, Givry Clos de Mortières expresses itself through greedy, fruity aromas with a hint of violet. On the palate, the dominant fruity character is sustained by supple tannins. A very pleasant wine to accompany red meats and strong cheeses.
