More information on the Parigot
Domaine Parigot, built in the 1960s, is the result of advances in mechanization in the wine industry - notably with the arrival of the first high-clearance tractors. The grandfather acquired it in 1957, before buying his first parcel of Pommard.
Today, the family vineyard comprises mainly Hautes-Côtes de Beaune (half), three Pommards, a Beaune 1er cru, a Chassagne-Montrachet 1er cru, a Meursault, a Volnay and a Savigny-les-Beaune.

Domaine Parigot - Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Clos de la Perrière 2013
Hautes-Côtes de Beaune|Red wine
3.6/5 (33 reviews)
2*Coup de Coeur Hachette
-
16/20 RVF (G&M)
A benchmark for the appellation, this Clos de la Perrière is not its first "coup de coeur"; the 2013 version joins the 2007-2008-2009 "magic trilogy" and the sunny 2003 vintage on the list. An intense crimson color, a generous nose of cooked fruit highlighted by subtle oak, first impressions invite you to continue. On the palate, the wine is round, rich and suave, with great length, underpinned by a noble woodiness and velvety tannins that give it a very courtly character. Already harmonious, this Hautes-Cotes will only gain in complexity with time". (Le Guide Hachette des vins 2016)
