"Golden in color, its fragrance evokes the earth, the palate is saline, even marine and very iodized, it has a nice length. It's quite atypical." (Le Guide des Vins Bettane & Desseauve) A blend of several parcels over 50 years old, the diversity of terroirs brings complexity and harmony to this astonishing Meursault.

Expert opinion

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated 15.5/20 (Very good wine)

Domaine rated (2020 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))

About the wine:

Golden color, earthy fragrance, saline, even marine and very iodized on the palate, with good length. Quite atypical.

About the domain :

Born of winegrower and cooper parents, Sylvain Dussort and his wife set up in 1982, and now farm 6.5 hectares in regional and village appellations in Meursault and Chorey-lès-Beaune. Their viticultural methods are opposed to systematic pest control, and vinification uses only indigenous yeasts, in the Burgundian tradition, with barrel ageing. Sylvain is also an advocate of the new Bourgogne Côte d'Or appellation, which he proudly claims as of the 2017 vintage.
